ATLANTA: Reporting live from the Georgia State Capital. The Retail Detail reports: Funding for TANF, Addiction Recovery support programs, and other social services is up for cuts, and hundreds of concerned citizens are crammed inside the Georgia State Senate building in a shocking show of support – the cheers can be heard across the entire building and there are so many people here, they are filling the hallways outside the main area.
Some of the groups that have shown up are representing: Project Light, a TANF ready for work program, the Conee Center, from Milledgeville, GA, and the Clayton Center, from Jonesboro, GA.
Pictures are being added throughout the day – so check back for more information.
Update: See FujiFilm Photo Pictures of the rally for 37 more pictures of the crowd.
