The Retail Detail reports: There is indeed life in that plastic bag, no matter how tattered it is.
Here are several fun uses:

  1. Basket weaving – yarn is used to “weave” baskets like a clay spiral pot is built.
  2. Waste basket linings – if you have small office or kitchen cans, line these with bags.
  3. Dog walk scoopers – who needs extra small, “special,” bags? Use grocery bags.
  4. Plant pot drainage management – plastic bags with holes can slow drainage in pots.
  5. River water refrigeration – wrap food in airtight layered bags, and sink underwater.
  6. Purse management – got small bags? use them to segregate the contents of purses.
  7. Luggage safety – separate shampoos and other items that can leak in an airtight bag.
  8. Sick bags – okay, maybe not so fun, but plastic bags help keep sick people sanitary.
  9. Shoe covers – do you have feet that need to be kept dry in ankle-deep water?
  10. Snow covers – layer these on your windshield at night – no more scraping cars off.
  11. Bug holders – trap scary-looking critters and tie the bag off until releasing outdoors.

Enjoy!  Part 2 and beyond will created if this page is passed to 10 or more people.
